It’s the final judgement that matters to us –Brymo

Brymo must be happy. Oh yes, the young artiste has not had it easy since his former record label, Chocolate City, filed  an injunction restraining him from recording, releasing or distributing any musical works pending the determination of the suit against him.

But a Lagos High Court early in the week lifted the injunction, saying that Brymo is free to carry out his duties while the case goes on.

But even as it seems, the singer has won the first round in the case. His manager, Lanre Lawal, told Saturday Beats that the final judgement is more important to the artiste. He expressed happiness that the singer was now free to work having been restrained since last October.

Lawal said, “It is the final judgement that matters to us. All the verdict did was to lift the ban against Brymo working. He is so happy to be working again because he had not worked since he was given the court injunction in October. This is a good development. It is a very good thing for us.”

Meanwhile, Saturday Beats tried to get in touch with Chocolate City boss, Audu Maikori, through blackberry messenger concerning the court ruling but he ignored the messages sent to him.
